Answers to the questions Australian business owners ask us most.

We specialise in Australian SMEs. Most of our clients have between 5 and 150 staff and between $2m and $50m in annual revenue. We size our engagements to your budget — from a one-day IT health check to a multi-month build. If you are a solo operator or a startup, we will probably point you to a cheaper option on your first call.
Yes. KEEYAS INFOTEK PTY LTD operates from VIC 3030. Our consultants and engineers work Australian business hours (AEST). You will always reach a local team member by phone or email. We do not route support to offshore call centres.
Most SME projects land between $8,000 and $60,000. A small internal tool can be under $10,000. A customer portal or cloud migration typically runs $15,000–$40,000. After a free 30-minute discovery call we provide a fixed-price proposal. We do not bill by the hour for scoped work.
Yes. We use a phased approach: backup, pilot, cutover outside business hours, decommission. The final cutover is scheduled on a weekend or after hours, and most of our migrations have no perceptible downtime for end users. We keep the old system warm for two weeks so we can roll back if anything looks wrong.
You do. On final payment, full ownership of the custom source code, database schema and documentation transfers to your business. We sign an IP assignment clause in the Statement of Work. We do not lock you into our proprietary platform.
No. We do not resell software or receive referral fees from vendors.
We build with the Privacy Act 1988 and the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme in mind: encryption in transit and at rest, access control, audit logs, and clear data retention rules. For health and medical clients we keep all patient data within Australian regions on AWS or Azure.
Often, yes. We have taken over a number of projects that stalled with offshore developers or freelancers. We read the existing code and documentation, then advise whether it is cheaper to fix what exists or rewrite.
Most of our clients stay on a low-cost monthly support retainer that covers monitoring, backups, small enhancements, security patches and priority phone support. You can cancel the retainer at any time. The system remains yours, fully documented, and we will hand it over to whoever you choose.
Typically within one to two weeks of signed paperwork. Emergency break-fix situations we can usually respond to within 24 hours. We deliberately keep our client list small so that we can start new engagements quickly rather than overloading existing engineers.
Almost never because you are using too much compute. It is usually because budget alerts, tagging and idle-resource cleanup were never switched on, or because outbound data transfer was left unoptimised. Our managed support retainer includes a quarterly cost review, so if your bill goes up we tell you why before you have to ask.
If you have a clear pain point in document processing, customer support triage or data cleanup, a small pilot is usually worth it. If the business process itself does not exist yet, AI is not a substitute for defining it first. We will tell you which category your idea falls into.
