Cloud Migration & AWS/Azure Support

Zero-downtime phased migration to AWS or Azure, plus ongoing managed support.

Move to AWS or Azure

Cloud migration has a bad reputation earned by projects that treated it as one big cutover: everything moves on a Saturday, something breaks on Monday, and the bill arrives three months later. We do it differently — in low-risk waves, with budget alerts before we start, and rollback paths for every step.

Who This Is For

Our Migration Process

Phase 1 — Assessment (1–2 weeks)

We inventory every server, application and data store. We map dependencies, estimate the monthly cloud cost before we touch anything, and produce a migration plan sorted by risk. You see the projected bill before we provision a single resource.

Phase 2 — Foundation (1 week)

We set up your cloud account properly: separate environments for production/staging, billing alerts at 80% and 100% of budget, encrypted backups, multi-factor authentication for every admin, and infrastructure-as-code so the whole environment can be rebuilt from a Git repository.

Phase 3 — Wave Migration (ongoing)

We move workloads in waves, starting with the least critical. Each wave: take a full backup → pilot with a small group of users → cut over outside business hours → keep the old system warm for two weeks → decommission. Most of our migrations have zero perceptible downtime for end users.

Phase 4 — Ongoing Managed Support

After migration we stay on as your cloud managed service: monitoring, patching, backups, cost optimisation, and 24/7 incident alerting for critical systems. You pay a fixed monthly fee; we watch your environment so you do not have to.

AWS vs Azure: Which Should You Pick?

It depends on your existing stack. If you are a Microsoft shop (Windows Server, SQL Server, Office 365), Azure usually wins on integration and pricing. If you are running Linux, Python, or modern web applications, AWS usually has a broader service catalogue. We will help you choose based on what you run today — not on whichever vendor sales rep called us last.

What It Costs

Most SME migrations land between $10,000 and $40,000 in professional services, plus the ongoing cloud bill itself (typically $500–$3,000/month for a small business, depending on workload). We show you the projected monthly cost before we start. We set budget alerts so you will never open a surprise invoice.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a typical migration take?

Most SME migrations finish in four to eight weeks. We run a one-to-two-week assessment, a one-week foundation phase, then move workloads in waves starting with the least critical. Each wave cuts over outside business hours and keeps the old system warm for two weeks as a rollback safety net.

Will we experience downtime or lose data?

No. Every wave starts with a full backup, pilots with a small group of users, then cuts over outside business hours. The old system stays warm for two weeks so we can roll back at any point. The majority of our migrations have zero perceptible downtime for end users.

How much will our monthly cloud bill be?

A small business typically lands between $500 and $3,000 a month depending on workload. We give you the projected monthly cost before we provision a single resource, and set budget alerts at 80% and 100% so you never open a surprise invoice.

Do we have to move everything to the cloud?

Not necessarily. Some workloads — very large file stores, or software tied to specialised hardware — are cheaper to keep on-premise. The assessment tells you exactly what to move, what to keep, and why, so you are not migrating for the sake of it.
